after all the positive reviews - a bitter disappointment. No question about nice local color with a very friendly landlady. The trout itself - fresh from Auleben - tasty too! The potatoes don't go at all even when warmed up - white + tasteless, gummy consistency. Although the kitchen time would easily have been enough for freshly cooked food. Garnished with a mini serving of salad. Also the pork knuckle - as a specialty of the house - no recommendation, meat very firm. We already had potatoes ... The real highlight, however, was the vegetarian dish - the fried cauliflower. In the middle of the cauliflower season, I really wouldn't have expected to be served an absolutely tasteless finished product. I dodged the potatoes with a couple of hash browns, which tasted better, but just dripped with oil. Too bad.

Nice restaurant, very good, delicious home-style cooking, friendly service, very nicely renovated rooms.

Very unfriendly staff except when saying goodbye because you are glad to go again. Opening times at least what is closing or kitchen closing should be mentioned. Staff leaves you in the dining room without any promises until you say sorry anyway, you can have a little something to eat where snippy comes across, we'll close soon. Never again. Parking for such a house 4 parking spaces ...
